At New Teeth Now, we believe that restoring your smile should be as seamless and comfortable as possible. That’s why we provide our patients with three sets of implant-supported teeth throughout the healing process—a patient-centered approach that sets us apart from nearly every other dental implant provider. This method ensures optimal healing and provides an opportunity for customization, giving you a smile that looks and feels natural. Read on to learn why we believe this is the best option for our patients.
Set 1: Your Same-Day Smile
Immediately after your implant surgery, you’ll leave our office with a full set of implant-supported teeth, designed and printed in our in-house lab the same day. This set is only “temporary” in that it will eventually be replaced; you still do not take it in and out at home, and you still will not have anything covering your palate like with dentures.
- Lightweight and comfortable: These teeth are made from a light material to accommodate swelling and support healing.
- Instant confidence: You won’t go home with removable dentures or nothing. You’ll walk out with a full smile.
- Tailored for healing: This first set is designed to protect your implants during the critical healing phase.
Set 2: The Interim Zirconia Set – A Rare Advantage
After initial healing, we provide a second set of teeth, usually about a month into the healing process, which is made of zirconia, a material known for its strength and natural appearance. This interim set is not provided by most other surgical centers and is a unique advantage to the New Teeth Now procedure.
- Why it matters: Most offices skip this step or rush final zirconia delivery within 24 hours, which can lead to a poor long-term fit and limited cosmetic flexibility.
- Customization opportunity: Our interim zirconia set allows you to live with your new teeth and identify changes you’d like—shape, size, color—before your final set is made.
- Durability for daily life: Whether you’re traveling, working, or just living life, zirconia offers peace of mind with fewer risks of breakage or repairs.
Set 3: Your Final Teeth, Designed to Last a Lifetime
Once your mouth has fully healed, we craft your final zirconia set, which is designed to last a lifetime.
- Precision fit: Waiting until healing has completed ensures your final teeth fit perfectly with even chewing pressure across the jaw.
- Reliable durability: Zirconia is the strongest material available for dental prosthetics.
- Natural aesthetics: Zirconia looks and feels like real teeth, giving you a confident, radiant smile and the ability to eat your favorite foods again.
Why Zirconia?
We use zirconia for both the second and final set of implant-supported teeth for several reasons:
1. Strength
Zirconia is stronger than acrylic or other materials. In fact, it’s the strongest material available for implant-supported prosthetic teeth.
2. Appearance
Zirconia is more natural-looking, reflecting light much like normal tooth enamel.
3. Feel
Our patients report that zirconia feels better in their mouth with a strength closer to real teeth.
4. Low Maintenance
Zirconia is ideal for our patients’ busy lives. It is resilient to breaking, chipping, and cracking, which means you won’t be setting aside time for regular repairs like may be common with other materials. Zirconia teeth also stand up against staining, acidic foods, and bacteria. They’re even easier to clean than natural teeth!
What Makes New Teeth Now Different?
- A personalized experience with your surgeon: Our surgeons are experts in the placement of full-mouth dental implants and specialize in treating patients with bone loss. At your free in-person consultation, you will meet your surgeon and get to discuss your unique anatomy and treatment plan before having to agree to surgery, unlike many offices where patients never meet the doctor until the day of their procedure.
- A customized approach for better support: While some places perform All-on-4® procedures, we like to call our work All-on-X. That’s because we don’t take a cookie-cutter approach to our patients’ long-term success. We place 4-6 implants, depending on our patients’ unique anatomy and dental condition to ensure better stability and even pressure distribution for long-term results.
- General anesthesia for comfort and safety: You’ll be fully asleep during surgery—not just put under twilight sedation—making the experience safer and more comfortable.
- No surprise fees: Many offices advertise low prices but charge extra for final teeth. At New Teeth Now, all three sets of teeth are included.
- Fully customizable teeth: The color, shape, and size of your final zirconia set can be adjusted with your restorative dentist.
