Natalia P. Núñez, DMD, MS

Education

Natalia P. Núñez, DMD, MS, is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, though her upbringing was split between Puerto Rico and Seville, Spain. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She was awarded a Master of Science in Oral Health Sciences from Boston University Medical Sciences. She attained her dental degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine.

Following dental school, she completed a one-year AEGD program with NYU Lagone, and afterwards she completed her internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard) in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Núñez then completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, with extensive training in oral surgery, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, medicine, pathology, anesthesiology and surgery.

In the Community

She shows a great dedication to her patients, her local community, and international outreach. Dr. Núñez has participated in surgical mission trips to Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and volunteered with Remote Area Medical during her training. She expects to continue community outreach here in Florida as well.

Personal Interests

Outside of surgery, Dr. Núñez enjoys an active lifestyle. You may see her enjoying working out, taking walks with her dog Athena, and most definitely exploring unique cuisine. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Núñez is proud to be fluent in Spanish.
