Loscar Perez, DMD
Education
Dr. Loscar Perez, DMD, is a highly experienced dentist specializing in replacement teeth. He received his undergraduate degree and doctorate from the University of Puerto Rico before going on to complete his residency in general dentistry at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook. He received specialized training in prosthodontics by completing an additional residency at the University of Minnesota.
Expertise
Dr. Perez has many years of experience as a restorative dentist, including previously working at Eglin Air Force Base in the Florida Panhandle and Atlanta Veterans Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the Florida Prosthodontist Association. He also co-authored a study published in the official journal of American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery known as Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Radiology.
Additionally, Dr. Perez has taught Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) classes in the U.S. Air Force and was on the University of Minnesota faculty teaching prosthodontics. He also lectures on topics such as All-on-X restorations and dental photography at professional conferences.
His specialties include full arch and full mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry.
